What is Memories Group?

We are proud to have the Awei Collection, Suggati Collection and the Keinnara Collection under the umbrella of Memories Group.

Which areas are the hotels of Memories Group located at?
Memories Group strives to become every traveller’s gateway to customised, unforgettable experiences in Myanmar. We are located in Yangon, the Mergui Archipelago, Hpa-An, Loikaw and Mawlamyaing. The hotels under Memories Group include Awei Metta Yangon, Awei Pila Mergui, Keinnara Lodge Hpa-an, Keinnara Lodge Loikaw and Hotel Suggati Mawlamyaing.

Do hotel-goers have to wear masks all the time?
Based on the local and worldwide health safety regulations, and for the safety of our guests and team members, all hotel guests will need to wear a face mask in all public spaces around the hotel vicinity, except during dining.

How are the disinfection practices in Memories Group of hotels?
At Memories Group, we take pride in ensuring that guestrooms are properly sanitised and that our hygiene standards are high in accordance with our CleanPledge. Our hotels strictly implement stringent cleaning training and protocols, and are able to take care of all post-COVID-19 issues including sanitation, practicing and encouraging social distancing, and wearing masks and gloves. The housekeeping team has been trained especially to carry out deep cleaning every day in all guest rooms and public areas. The safety of our guests and team members remains a priority. We have also stepped up the disinfection of public spaces and guestrooms, and have made hand sanitisers available all around the hotel facility.

Do guests have to do a daily temperature screening?
Prior to your check-in, there will be a mandatory temperature screening for all guests at the hotel entrance upon visiting the hotel. If you feel unwell, speak to our guest relations officer and we can help you with the next step.
