Our Practices
Our ‘CleanPledge’ cleanliness and disinfection standards have been initiated in collaboration with Diversey Inc., a provider of hygiene and health security services. This program is implemented across all Memories Group Hotels and Services and will be monitored by Memories operation teams and third-party auditors as part of our new program commitment.
The framework of the CleanPledge will be focused on Safety, Hygiene, and Well-Being – heightened protocols within properties’ environment and hotel community.
Memories Group is engaged in a continuity of cleaning and disinfecting standards. Individual precautionary measures may vary by property.
In light of all guests experience at our hotels regarding safety and well-being during their stay, CleanPledge has standardized following measures throughout the hotels and specifically in pubic accessible areas.
- Physical distancing measures at restaurant and lobby area
- Visual posters, signage and other communication materials to encourage customers to practice good hygiene
- Attentive guest temperature measurement practices, disinfectant mats at hotel entrance and partitions at front desks will also be implemented.
New stringent cleanliness protocols will be carried out and monitored across all Memories Group hotels and will include frequent disinfection of all high-touch points like lobby entrance, restaurant areas, and public restrooms.
- Frequent disinfection of all high-touch points like lobby entrance, restaurant areas and public restrooms
- Regular deep cleaning procedures to lower the risk of cross-contamination, e.g. floor, walls, curtains, kitchen, outdoor areas and in-room carpets will be descaled heavily
- Thorough washing and treatment of all bedding at high temperatures using linen deep cleaning procedure.
It is our strong commitment when it comes to safety, quality, and environmental impact of our food and beverages – new guidelines and standards being established as we reopen our restaurants and bars topped off with government regulations.
- Protective masks and gloves to wear in kitchen at all times
- Accessible sanitation gel products and hand washing basins in public restaurant areas
- Maintaining 1-metre distance across tables
- New procedures for in-room dining as well as enhanced staff training on awareness and cleanliness procedures
CleanPledge provides employees with:
- Detailed training and knowledge of safety measures and disinfection protocols to ensure the skills and on-hand expertise necessary
- Technical training and program knowledge and have been mandated prior to hotel reopening.
