It is one of the most significant traditional festivals in Myanmar. This particular Festival is celebrated nationwide on the 15th
day of the month. In the morning, people cook Htamane (traditional snack made with sticky rice) with local traditional ingredients such as sticky rice, coconut, oil, peanut and sesame. Guests can enjoy by watching sticky rice cooking competitions as people cook Htamane with a big pan and paddles. The winning team is awarded. Firstly, Htamane is offered to the Buddha in the morning and after that, this food is distributed in everyone and the neighbors free.
