COVID-19 UPATE

Update: September 15, 2020

In the best interest of public health, guests’ safety, and well-being of our employees, Keinnara Hpa-An, Keinnara Loikaw, and Hotel Suggati – Mawlamyaing will be temporarily closing its doors in light of the second wave of COVID-19. We will be reopening as soon as it is safe to do so and continue to support our employees during the time of closure. We encourage you to stay home and be always safe.

Our Flexible Policy:

Guests with any existing reservations at Keinnara Hpa-An, Keinnara Loikaw, and Hotel Suggati Mawlamyaing can have the options to either receive a full credit for the same amount of their original booking for use until December 31, 2021 at the same property as per valid season’s rate, or a full refund.  Rebooking and cancellation will be accommodated without fees or rate differences regardless of the existing booking policy. (subject to availability and conditions)

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their cancellation and rebooking policies.

Update: April 4th, 2020

This year, we will be closing Awei Pila hotel operating season earlier than planned following Tanintharyi Region, Kawthaung District Chief Administer’s General Administration Office’s directive. We will be reopening in the new season as soon as it is safe to do so after the monsoon! We hope to see you at Awei Pila Soon!

Our Flexible Policy:

  • Guests with any existing reservations that have made either a full payment or partial payment  can opt to either receive a full credit for the same number of room nights and room type of their original booking for use until December 21, 2021 at the same property, or a full refund.  Rebooking and cancellation will be accommodated without fees or rate differences regardless of the existing booking policy. (subject to availability and conditions)

 

  • Guests with any existing reservations that have not made payment will be canceled automatically. No further action will be required.

At Memories Group, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our guests and employees. We want to give you an assurance and update you on the actions we have taken in response to a potential of an outbreak.

Our Commitment:

All hotel employees are required to adhere strictly on hygiene and cleaning guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID- 19 in the workplace and within their communities. Even for mild symptoms, if an employee is sick, he/she would be isolated from the workplace immediately to stay at home until fully recovered, colleagues who have been in close contacts would also be identified and isolated.  Staff are checked when reporting to work each day.  Currently, there are no cases of symptoms as of today at our hotels.

Our number one priority is the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees. Please be assured that we are closely monitoring developments within Myanmar and around the world, including Ministry of Foreign Affairs Myanmar, Ministry of Health and Sports Myanmar, the World Health Organisation (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and relevant authorities for country-specific requirements, to ensure the actions we take are comprehensive and suitable.

All of our hotels are required to adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures including all local laws. In addition, we provide our hotels with best practices and guidelines and have supplemented these resources with additional COVID-19 cleanliness-specific guidance, training and information consistent with our own high standards.

Our Flexible Policy:

We have been adapting our cancellation policy to the evolving nature of this epidemic. We are offering the most flexibility to provide assurance and comfort for our guests.

  • For guests with existing reservations made until April 30th, 2020 are allowed for cancelation without a charge for full refund, change booking, or rebooking at no charge.
  • For guests making new reservations between today until April 30th, 2020 will allow those reservations to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 24 hours before the guests’ scheduled arrival date.
